What travels with the order, and what each record shows

Four things exist and can be checked. The customs declaration travels with the parcel and is written line by line: product description, material, tariff heading, quantity and China as the country of origin; sterling silver goes under heading 7113.11. The listing carries the per-item supplier record that states the material, and the order confirmation email repeats the material and the unit price of every line you bought. Any listing can be ordered as a single piece at its listed price and sent for testing before a reorder. A claim window of 14 days after delivery applies to every order. No commercial invoice, packing list or certificate of origin is produced, and no assay report is held; the sentence about that is one line below, not the whole story.

An untested claim transfers to you

If a supplier tells a retailer that a piece is nickel-free and the retailer tells a customer, the retailer is the one standing in front of the customer. We would rather be the supplier who says what is unknown than the supplier whose claim someone else has to defend. This is also why the list is here as a page rather than as small print at the bottom of a product.

Not testing is not the same as not caring

The material record is checked per item and enforced by exclusion: items that do not carry a 925 or S925 source record do not enter that family. What we have not done is pay a laboratory to confirm it, and we do not describe a sourcing record as though it were a laboratory result.

What to do if your market needs a file

Ask before ordering rather than after the parcel is in transit. If a test report is what you need, the practical route is to order a single piece at its listed price and have it tested, since there is no minimum order standing in the way of doing that.

Why publish a list of things you have not tested?
Because the alternative is that a buyer infers it from silence, and because an untested claim passed down the chain is defended by whoever is closest to the customer. Writing it down costs us some marketing language and removes a risk the buyer would otherwise carry without knowing.
Does this mean the 925 label is unreliable?
It means the label rests on a per-item supplier record rather than a laboratory result, and that we describe it that way. Items without such a record do not enter the 925 family at all. What we cannot tell you is what an assay would say, because we have not commissioned one.
Can I get the items tested myself?
