Earrings are the largest stainless steel shelf on AdornTrade and the one most new resellers open with, because a pair of steel hoops is the cheapest finished piece that still looks like jewelry on a display card. This guide gives the wholesale stainless steel earrings prices by style, hoops, studs, huggies, drops and ear cuffs, from the 87 listings published as of 4 September 2026, together with the closures, plating and stones recorded on each listing and the 3-pair and 8-pair prices that sit on every variant.

The 87 listings carry 341 variants and come from 6 partner factories. Every one carries the material label Stainless steel and no alloy grade; the reasoning is in the earlier guide on stainless steel jewelry wholesale. Prices are in US dollars and are the single-unit price of the cheapest variant on each listing. The unit is a pair on 85 listings; 2 listings, one of them an ear cuff, record a single-piece unit format and are priced per piece.

What wholesale stainless steel earrings cost by style

StyleListingsLowestMedianHighestVariants per listing
Hoop earrings39$0.86$3.86$6.313.8
Drop and dangle earrings22$2.02$4.27$7.024.5
Stud earrings15$1.07$3.49$6.333.9
Huggie hoops5$1.38$1.95$4.905.0
Ear cuffs3$2.50$2.81$4.173.0
Other3$2.74$4.00$6.311.3
All earrings87$0.86$3.86$7.023.9

The spread from $0.86 to $7.02 is an 8-fold range inside one material, and the table shows where it comes from. A huggie is a small hinged hoop with almost no metal and, usually, no stones, so the 5 huggie listings median $1.95. A drop earring carries a chain or an articulated section and often a pavé section as well, so the 22 drop listings median $4.27 and set the $7.02 ceiling. Hoops and studs sit in the middle at $3.86 and $3.49.

The practical rule is the same as on every steel shelf: the metal is not the price. Stones and articulation are. A plain 10 mm tube hoop and a pavé-set tube hoop of the same size can differ by $3 a pair, and the difference is the hand-setting of the stones.

Hoops: 39 listings, and what “size” means on a hoop listing

Hoops are the biggest group, 39 of the 87 listings, spanning $0.86 to $6.31. Where an inner diameter is recorded it runs from 8 mm to 16 mm, and several listings offer 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm as separate variants of one design. That is why the average hoop listing has 3.8 variants: colour times diameter.

Recorded profiles include rounded tube hoops, C-shaped hoops, puffy U-shaped hoops and hoop drops. A hoop listing that shows one price is usually showing its smallest diameter, so compare hoop suppliers at a stated inner diameter, exactly as you would compare chain suppliers at a stated width. Wholesale stainless steel hoop earrings at 8 mm and at 16 mm are different products at different prices even when the design is identical.

Studs and huggies: the post and the hinge

A closure is recorded on 72 of the 87 listings. The split is 40 post backs, 27 hinged huggie or hoop clasps, 2 hooks, 2 clip or cuff fits and 1 ear-pin style; 15 listings do not record a closure and should be read from their photos before ordering. This matters for resale more than it looks: a post with a butterfly clutch, a hook and a huggie hinge sell to different customers, and a display card of mixed findings sells worse than a card of one.

The 15 stud listings run from $1.07 to $6.33 with a $3.49 median. Wholesale stainless steel stud earrings at the low end are plain shapes on a post; at the high end they are prong-set cubic zirconia clusters. The 5 huggie listings run from $1.38 to $4.90 with a $1.95 median, and bulk huggie earrings are the cheapest finished steel piece on the platform per pair after the plainest hoops. Recorded pair weights across the shelf run from 3 g to 11 g, which is the range that decides your shipping weight per card more than the price does.

What the 1, 3 and 8 pair prices look like per style

Quantity pricing is printed on each listing, not negotiated. Across all 1,550 published stainless steel variants the 3-piece unit price averages 93.74% of the single price and the 8-piece unit price averages 81.25%, with individual listings ranging from 78.95% to 85.71% at 8 pieces. Applied to the medians:

Style (median listing)1 pair3 pairs8 pairs
Hoop earrings$3.86$3.62$3.14
Drop earrings$4.27$4.00$3.47
Stud earrings$3.49$3.27$2.84
Huggie hoops$1.95$1.83$1.58
Ear cuffs$2.81$2.63$2.28

Quantity prices at 3 and 8 units apply only where a listing displays them, and they apply per variant: 8 pairs means 8 of one colour and one diameter. The 1-to-3 step saves 6.25%, which on a $3.86 hoop is 24 cents. The 3-to-8 step is worth 18.75% against the single price and is the one that moves a margin. For a buyer in the euro area, the median pair at $3.86 is about €3.32 at the European Central Bank reference rate of 1.1622 US dollars per euro on 4 September 2026; billing is in US dollars.

Plating and stones as recorded

A plating attribute is recorded on 73 of the 87 listings: 60 as gold-plated, 6 with a gold or silver colour chosen by variant, and 7 as an electroplated or coated finish with no named colour. The other 14 listings carry no plating attribute and are polished steel. On the platform every plating word is the wording of the supplier record and nothing more. Under the US Federal Trade Commission’s Jewelry Guides, 16 CFR 23.3, “gold plated” is reserved for a coating thick enough to assure reasonable durability and “gold electroplate” for a minimum of 0.175 microns of fine gold; we do not measure coating thickness and make no claim under that guide, so a buyer selling into the US should treat the record as a description of colour, not a certified thickness.

Stones are recorded on 48 listings. Cubic zirconia is the recorded stone on 38 of them and glass or crystal on 5; no listing records a natural gemstone. The 39 listings with no stone attribute are plain metal designs.

Steel earrings against the other four materials

925 sterling silver35$3.07$8.51$27.13
Moissanite on 925 silver123$6.14$15.19$42.09

Steel is the second-cheapest earring shelf by median and the one with the narrowest band: $0.86 to $7.02 against $0.60 to $35.24 for pearl. That narrowness is the point for a first order. On the steel shelf the dearest pair costs less than two median 925 silver pairs, so an assortment of eight steel styles has a bounded downside in a way that eight pearl styles do not. Silver medians $8.51, just over twice steel, and moissanite $15.19, about four times.

What to check before you order earrings in bulk

  • The closure, per listing. 72 of 87 listings record it; for the other 15, read the photo. Do not put a hook and a post on the same display card.
  • The inner diameter on hoops. 8 mm and 16 mm are different products. Compare suppliers at a stated diameter.
  • Whether the price is per pair. On this platform 85 of the 87 listings are priced per pair; the 2 that are priced per piece say so in a unit format attribute. Elsewhere, a per-piece quote can look like half the price of a per-pair one.
  • What the stone is. Cubic zirconia on 38 listings, glass or crystal on 5. Resell it as that.
  • What the plating word means. A supplier record of colour, not a measured thickness.
  • Whether the 8-pair price is on the listing. On this platform all 341 variants carry it; elsewhere, a site-wide claim is not a listing price.

The short version

Wholesale stainless steel earrings on this platform run from $0.86 to $7.02 a pair across 87 listings, with a $3.86 median. Huggies are cheapest at a $1.95 median, studs $3.49, hoops $3.86, drops $4.27. Stones and articulation set the price, not the steel. Compare hoops at a stated diameter, keep one finding type per card, take the 8-pair step on styles you have tested, and read a plating word as a record of colour. Every figure here can be checked against the listing it came from.
