Wholesale Stainless Steel Jewelry, Published Without a Grade Number

AdornTrade publishes 293 stainless steel listings and states the grade of exactly none of them. Not 316, not 316L, not 304, on any of the 293. This is deliberate, and it is the shortest honest answer we can give a buyer comparing suppliers on that number. Prices are public on every listing: from $0.14 to $20.59 per piece at one unit, median $4.17, with 289 of the 293 listings under $10. Any listing can be ordered from one piece; stock items dispatch in 3 to 7 working days and transit takes 7 to 15 days.

Almost every stainless steel jewelry wholesale listing on the market says 316L. We checked ours against the original supplier records and found the same phrase repeating across unrelated sellers, carried by copy-paste rather than by any document. We could not substantiate it, so we removed the number from every listing rather than repeat a claim we cannot support. What we publish instead is the material family, the finish where a source discloses it, and an explicit refusal to stock the low-grade steels that actually cause returns.

  1. 01

0 of 293 published stainless steel listings state a grade number, verified against the catalogue rather than asserted as a policy intention.

  2. 02

Our intake pipeline rejects any item whose supplier record names 201, 202 or 430 steel, the grades most associated with early rusting in jewelry.

  3. 03

No listing in this family carries a corrosion, waterproof, tarnish-free or hypoallergenic claim, because those are test results and we hold no test report.

How to compare stainless steel without a grade number.

Store information

Compare on what is actually documented

Because we publish no grade number, what is left to compare on this stainless jewelry wholesale catalogue is what we can show: the shape, the finish where a source discloses it, the published unit price, the 3 and 8 unit wholesale prices, and current availability. A buyer who needs a certified grade should ask for mill documentation from any supplier, ourselves included, and should treat an unsupported 316L label as unverified.

Sample before volume, on the same listing

Every published stainless steel listing starts at one piece, including the wholesale stainless steel rings and bangles that make up the largest part of this family. Judge finish and weight in hand at unit price, then reorder the same product at the 3 or 8 unit wholesale price.

Why the grade number is not on these listings.

Enquiry notes

Why the number was withdrawn

We previously published 316 and 316L labels copied verbatim from supplier titles. When we tried to substantiate them we could not, and the phrasing turned out to be templated across the supply base. In August 2026 we removed grade numbers from every stainless steel listing rather than keep a claim we could not stand behind. Historical listings were rewritten, not left in place.

What we still refuse to stock

Rejecting a grade claim is not the same as being indifferent to the metal. Items whose source explicitly names 201, 202 or 430 steel are refused at intake and never reach the catalogue, because those grades are where the rust complaints in this category come from. 304 is not on the refusal list and is stocked as general stainless steel, again without a number on the listing.

Questions about this catalogue

Is your stainless steel jewelry 316L?
We do not claim it is. Some supplier records say 316L, but the same wording repeats across unrelated sellers with no documentation behind it, so we removed the number from all 293 listings rather than pass on a claim we cannot evidence. If a certified grade is a requirement in your market, ask any supplier for mill documentation before ordering.
Then how do I know the steel is not cheap rust-prone stock?
Two things we can show. Items whose supplier record names 201, 202 or 430 steel are rejected before they reach the catalogue. And every listing can be ordered as a single piece, so finish and weight can be judged in hand before any volume commitment.
Do you claim the jewelry is waterproof or tarnish-free?
No. Those are wear and corrosion test results, and we hold no test report for these items, so no listing in this family carries a waterproof, tarnish-free or hypoallergenic claim.
Are you one of the stainless steel jewelry manufacturers, or a wholesaler?
We publish a ready-stock wholesale catalogue sourced through a factory network rather than manufacturing every item ourselves. Any factory source stated on a listing applies to that listing only. Custom and OEM briefs are quoted separately and are not covered by the published catalogue terms.
What is the minimum order for wholesale stainless steel jewelry?
There is no minimum. AdornTrade sets no minimum order quantity, store-wide or per listing. Any published listing, including wholesale stainless steel rings, can be ordered from one piece, with 3 unit and 8 unit wholesale prices on the same listing.
How much does wholesale stainless steel jewelry cost per piece?
From $0.14 to $20.59 per piece at one unit across the 293 published listings, with a median of $4.17; 289 of the 293 are under $10. Earrings start at $0.86, rings at $0.95, necklaces at $0.19 and bangles at $1.55. The 3 unit price is 92 to 96 percent of the one-unit price and the 8 unit price is 79 to 86 percent, all printed on the listing rather than quoted on request.
How long does a first stainless steel order take, and do you accept small shops?
Stock items dispatch in 3 to 7 working days and transit takes 7 to 15 days, tracked, from one piece upward. There is no separate sample programme: a single piece at its one-unit price is the sample. We sell to small shops and online sellers; as a wholesale platform we verify every new buyer once, by email, before the first order is processed; reply to that email and the payment link follows. From the second order on, online payment is immediate.
