Jewelry trends 2027 for retailers

Jewelry Trends 2027 for Retailers: What Search Demand Says to Stock, and What to Cut Back

Trend reports usually say what looks new. A retailer deciding what to stock needs something narrower: which styles more shoppers are searching for, and which are fading. This page reads that from Google search volumes in the US and the UK for July and August 2026 against the same months of 2025, from Google's own keyword planning data, and sets each style against what AdornTrade had on its shelf on 5 October 2026, so you can see what can be stocked from a single piece today and reordered at the listed price.

Styles where search demand is fading

Shipping information

Charm necklaces and charm bracelets

US searches for charm necklaces fell 45 percent and charm bracelets 49 percent in July and August 2026 against 2025, and both fell in the UK as well. Stock what already sells rather than widening the range.

Bow jewelry, initial necklaces and layered looks

US searches for bow necklaces fell 46 percent and bow earrings 51 percent; initial necklaces fell 33 percent, layered necklaces 33 percent and chunky jewelry 33 percent, with similar falls in the UK. These were the strong styles of the last two seasons, and the searches show them cooling.

Cuban link chains and cross necklaces

US searches for cuban link chains and for cross necklaces each fell 26 percent in July and August 2026 against 2025, and both fell in the UK too. Cross necklaces also peak around Easter, so spring is the time to stock them rather than the end of the year.

Store information

Heart necklaces: up 49 percent in the US

US searches for heart necklaces averaged 27,100 a month, and July and August 2026 ran 49 percent above the same months of 2025, the strongest rise among the mainstream necklace styles. In the UK the same search fell 19 percent, so this is a US story. On 5 October 2026 AdornTrade listed 37 heart necklaces and pendants, with a median one-unit price of $12.43.

Freshwater pearl earrings: still climbing after a big year

US searches for freshwater pearl earrings averaged 14,800 a month, with the last twelve months far above the twelve before and July and August 2026 still 22 percent up on 2025. The broader search for pearl earrings held level at 49,500 a month, so the growth is in the freshwater wording. AdornTrade listed 92 freshwater pearl earring designs on 5 October 2026, median $5.01 at one unit.

Tennis necklaces: up 36 percent in the US

US searches for tennis necklaces averaged 33,100 a month and July and August 2026 ran 36 percent above 2025, while UK demand held level. Tennis bracelets are a far bigger search at 135,000 a month in the US but slightly down on the year. AdornTrade listed 12 tennis bracelets and 2 tennis necklaces on 5 October 2026.

Diamond-look earrings: moissanite and lab-grown both growing

US searches for lab grown diamond earrings rose 50 percent in July and August 2026 against 2025, and moissanite earrings rose 11 percent, even as searches for moissanite rings fell 25 percent. Shoppers are looking for a diamond look in their ears more than on their fingers. AdornTrade listed 128 moissanite earrings on 925 sterling silver on 5 October 2026, each moissanite stone with a GRA certificate, median $16.57 at one unit.

Ear climbers and drop earrings

US searches for ear climber earrings rose 26 percent and drop earrings 11 percent in July and August 2026 against 2025. Statement earrings rose 22 percent in the US. On 5 October 2026 AdornTrade listed 131 drop and dangle earrings with a median one-unit price of $5.44, and 7 ear climbers and ear cuffs.

Demi-fine wording

US searches for demi fine jewelry averaged 8,100 a month and rose 71 percent in July and August 2026 against 2025. The term usually describes gold-tone finishes over a precious-metal base rather than over brass. On 5 October 2026 AdornTrade listed 19 gold-tone designs on 925 sterling silver.

Enquiry notes

Same two months, one year apart

Each change compares US or UK Google search volume for July and August 2026 with July and August 2025, from Google's keyword planning data. Comparing the same months removes most of the seasonal swing, such as hearts around Valentine's Day and crosses around Easter. Monthly averages are the twelve months to August 2026.

Shelf counts are dated

Every AdornTrade shelf count on this page was read from the published listings on 5 October 2026. The live shelf changes as designs are added and as sources go out of stock, so the category pages are the current figure.

Growing searches going into 2027, and where to stock them.

Search volume is not sales, but it is the earliest public signal of what shoppers will walk in asking for, and a year-on-year comparison of the same two summer months takes out the usual seasonal swings. Where a style is growing in the US but not in the UK, or the other way round, this page says so. Every shelf count is dated, and every style named here can be bought at its printed price from a single piece, with 3 and 8 unit prices on the same listing.

Questions about this catalogue

What jewelry will be trending in 2027?

Going by US and UK search demand in July and August 2026 against 2025, the styles growing into 2027 are heart necklaces, tennis necklaces, freshwater pearl earrings, diamond-look earrings in moissanite and lab-grown stones, ear climbers and drop earrings. Charm jewelry, bow jewelry, initial necklaces, layered looks and cuban link chains are fading.

What jewelry should a small shop stock for 2027?

Lean into the styles with growing search demand, test each one with a few pieces, reorder the ones that sell in depth, and cut back on the styles whose searches are falling. At AdornTrade every design can be bought as a single piece, so a shop can test a heart necklace or a pair of pearl earrings and reorder the sellers at the 8 unit price on the same listing.

Is pearl jewelry still trending?

Pearl earrings are holding level at around 49,500 US searches a month, and freshwater pearl earrings in particular are still growing, up 22 percent in July and August 2026 against 2025. Pearl necklaces are down 26 percent over the same months.

Are moissanite earrings a good stock for 2027?

Search demand says earrings more than rings: US searches for moissanite earrings rose 11 percent in July and August 2026 while moissanite rings fell 25 percent. AdornTrade's moissanite earrings are set on 925 sterling silver and every moissanite stone comes with a GRA certificate.
